SASU is a traditional lunch event at IDEO Boston that provides a fun, safe place where staff can let their creativity go a little crazy. Participants are given a design challenge, some art supplies and an hour to let their imaginations run wild. The initiator, Matt Brown, explains that SASU means Saturday and Sunday, the time to be relaxed and creative.
After several years of these events, IDEO Boston had massive number of SASU examples. During my internship there, I designed a book that showcased these wildly creative works.
